Charalampos Aggelopoulos

He studied at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, the Hochschule für Musik Köln and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He also studied with D. Evnouchidou. He has appeared in solo recitals and has collaborated with orchestras and chamber music ensembles in Europe (UK, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Serbia), North Africa, Turkey and Japan. His repertoire includes 25 concerts for piano and orchestra, a multitude of works for solo piano and chamber music works, spanning from Bach to 21st century composers. As a soloist he has performed with the State Orchestra of Athens, the Apollon Orchestra Berlin, the Orchestra of Colours, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Camerata, the Patras Orchestra, the Athens Chamber Orchestra, the City of Thessaloniki Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish Academy Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Greek National Opera, the Contra Tempo Orchestra, the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra. He collaborates regularly with pianist T. Gouvelis and he is a founding member of the Piandaemonium ensemble. He is the organizer of the Thessaloniki Piano Festival (www.tpf.gr).
